Socialization Survey: Results (Task3)

Here are the results of another public survey about how and where people make friends.
The purpose of the survey is to figure out if it is possible to potentially make friends in public transport; and what should people talk about to be engaged in a friendly conversation.
Close-ups at a jump:

Public transport is the least popular place to make friends, yet whole 29% of respondents replied they made friends during their commute:

 61% out of them were engaged in conversations started by someone else; and half of them started talking to strangers first.

 Another question was about the topics people talk about during their journey.
7 in 10 people talk about their hobbies, interests and work;
5 in 10 talk about current events;
only 4 in 10 talk about weather;
and 3 in 10 talk about their rout and traffic.
 75% of people would prefer public transport to be more socially active.
Thus commuters have to be given choice and opportunity to engage in social life during their journey.
Hobbies, interests and work are a good category to concentrate on.
